Hardcore Gamer: Quantic Dreams announced that their game Beyond: Two Souls cleared 1,000,000 in sales in 2013. Thats pretty good for something that got such tepid reviews, but its also a game clearly designed for the mainstream public. Pretty 3D with all the graphic flourishes, big-name actors, retail presence, a good marketing push, and all the other bells and whistles that go with a AAA release pushed Beyond: Two Souls to respectable sales.
PlayStation Beat: Beyond: Two Souls sold one million copies in 2013. Some label it a milestone, others consider it a disappointment. How should we interpret it?
GearNuke: "Beyond Two Souls was the second Quantic Dream project on PlayStation 3. It has been officially confirmed by Quantic Dreams Co-CEO that the game has sold through 1 million copies in 2013. It also sold approximately 70k units in France, where Quantic Dream is located, which is a lot better than Heavy Rain at similar time frame."
